  We had a great time at our scape party in late June 2011!  Here are Cyd’s recipes from that lunch: CANTALOUPE SORBET 6 servings 2/3 cup sugar 1/2 cup water 3 cups 1-inch pieces peeled seeded cantaloupe (about 1/2 cantaloupe) Combine sugar and water in medium saucepan. Cyd’s Tip for Special Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Cyd likes to boil whole cloves of garlic in with her potatoes then mash them all together. She thinks this infuses the potatoes with the garlic flavor and creates a more mellow flavor than the flavor you get from throwing raw minced garlic into garlic mashed potatoes.
